Work selected for Interiors UK

Found out this week that one of my prints has been selected to show on the Global Colour Research stand at the Interiors Show UK . This has been chosen from the collection we designed for the Global Colour predicted trend 'Axis'. Really excited to see what the final out come will be!

Axis - Final Work

After a very fast paced seven weeks my Axis work is all handed in. Global Colour will now select work to be put on display at the Interiors Show, NEC, Birmingham in 2014. Here is a selection of my final design work...

Projections

Been experimenting with the overhead projector this week. Been projecting netting and painted acetates onto folded paper, loving the patterns it creates and so simply! Going to have fun photoshop-ing these for the Global Colour Research Axis trend.

AXIS - Global Colour Research Trend

Back to uni and straight back to work with our live brief from Global Colour Research. We are responding to their trends predicted for Autumn/Winter 2014/15. Our final outcomes will be on display at The Interiors Show NEC next year. Axis is the trend I was given to respond to and today we have been creating group mood boards to communicate it. Really excited to get stuck into this!

Final Year, New Building

Its the start of the new term and my final year at BIAD. We are now all in the new Parkside building which is very cool. Its designed to be all open plan and with much better access to workshops. Really excited to get settled and back to work.

Birmingham Made Me - Morgan Cars

The hard work paid off and our designs are now complete for Morgan Cars at Birmingham Made Me design expo. Its been great working on something a bit different, been a fantastic experience.
